Hi, I’m Stacey, the face (and camera) behind Mad Magic Photography!

Based in beautiful Maple Ridge, BC, I specialize in boudoir, weddings, elopements, and family sessions.

I’m a proud hockey mom of two, coffee (and margarita!) enthusiast, and photography lover who thrives on capturing the magic in life’s big moments and all those little magic moments in-between.

For me, photography is all about connection—the laughter, raw emotions, and everything that makes us, uniquely us. My approach is laid-back and fun, so you can relax and be yourself while I work my magic behind the lens.

It’s more than photos—it’s an experience! With years of experience of finding the perfect poses to hyping you up, my goal is to make sure you feel amazing while we capture your story.

I’ve found that the best way to better understand the how to get the best shots from behind the camera is to jump in-front of it as often as I can.

Expect laughs, good vibes, and maybe a dance move or two—because creating magic together should always be fun!

When I’m not snapping photos or editing away, you’ll find me hopping from rink to rink watching my boys play hockey through my hands (it’s sooo hard to watch some times!), planning my next getaway, or enjoying cozy moments with my family.

I started this adventure with a love for revealing the beauty in everyone’s story, and helping women unapologetically celebrate themselves.

Seeing them shine in front of the camera, without any reservations, has been one of the absolute best parts of my job.

Every love story (including self-love stories!) and every family I’ve photographed has left its own little imprint on my heart.
